Jordan River Trail Boardwalk

Come and see Salt Lake City's most recently constructed section of the Jordan River Parkway Trail. This new section of trail, completed spring 2012, extends one mile from Redwood Road at approximately 1800 North, to the Davis County line.

Traveling through wetlands, the new segment provides a scenic environment for spotting birds and other wildlife along your ride.

In addition to the new section of Jordan River Parkway Trail, Salt Lake City also constructed a new trailhead parking area at approximately 1800 North Redwood Road North.

Legacy Parkway Trail connection

With this new section of trail in place, trail users can now travel on just over 34 miles of continuous off-road, paved trail from North Temple street in Salt Lake City to Roy City in Weber County. This is made possible by the interconnection of three trails: the Jordan River Parkway Trail, the Legacy Parkway Trail and the Denver & Rio Grande Western Rail.
